Our search for the perfect canvas has led us to a flag-maker whose techniques put them streets ahead of the rest. And we were jolly pleased to find them!
In recent years the quality of canvases has suffered due to their popularity. Most of what's out there (and there's a lot) is mediocre at best, plain old tacky at worst and we were beginning to despair of ever finding a product that we would be happy to recommend to our clients.
What we've found employs a totally different method of printing from the norm, using techniques usually applied to flags and awnings, which makes the canvases very robust. Hence they do not need a "shiny" lacquer coating for protection and have a pleasing matte finish which eliminates irritating glare.
They will also resist scratching, will not crack on the edges or fade in the sun and can be used in steamier atmospheres like kitchens and bathrooms.
