Etching Folios
The folios make a thoughtful, beautiful, and original present for a special birthday, or perhaps as a truly distinctive and memorable corporate gift.
We take a series of up to 15 individual photographs, printed as etchings on handmade papers.
Perhaps a series of portraits, or a mix of portraiture with evocative scenes or activities: architectural details of a home, beloved or prize-winning animal, favourite river, garden, or vista.
To make it even more special we can include an evocative poem or thoughtful frontispeice printed using the timeless technique of the hand-set letterpress.
The whole is bound in a bespoke, hand made folio for which you have a wide choice of marbled papers, ribbons and suede with which to create a very special and totally unique binding, which can even incorporate one of the original copper-plates.
